Originally from Montana, Alex Kunkel holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in nursing, specializing in emergency medicine, end-of-life care, and nursing administration.
In 2013, during her residency at Christus Saint Vincent ER in Santa Fe, NM, she administered Ketamine infusions to patients with mental health concerns, a groundbreaking approach at the time.
Her nursing journey also includes travel nursing and medical relief work, where she provided care in Haiti for several years and on a mission in Nepal.
From 2020 to 2023, Alex served as the Director of Nursing for Mobile IV Medics, where she played a key role in refining and expanding clinical services. In 2023, she took on the role of Director of Clinical Services at Radiant Hospice, managing RN Case Managers, social workers, and chaplains, while delivering compassionate end-of-life care to patients in their homes.
Beyond her nursing career, Alex has continued her education with studies in integrative nutrition at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City, and she holds a certificate in spiritual psychology from the University of Santa Monica.
