Robert Donaldson
LMFT & Clinical Supervisor
He/Him
Robert Donaldson is a marriage and family therapist licensed in California and Nevada.
He saw his first client as an intern therapist in 2004 and knows each person’s journey into
therapy is a unique act of courage. Robb views modern psychotherapy as a sacred art
that's grounded in the ancient healing and storytelling traditions found throughout the
world.
Robb has a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute,
and also has a second master’s degree in spiritual psychology from the University of
Santa Monica. He’s completed post-graduate certificates in Consciousness, Health and
Healing, Soul Centered Facilitation, and Mindfulness and Guided Imagery.
Through his work with people at various stages of life and career transitions, people
dealing with LGBT, gender identity, and coming out issues, stressed college students,
creative writers and artists, hospice patients, and successful professionals overwhelmed
with busy lives, Robb has witnessed firsthand how anyone can cultivate a sense of
serenity even in the midst of external uncertainty. With the right practical psychological
tools, it's possible to bring a sense of enjoyment back into the routines of daily life. It's
not always easy, but it's possible.
By learning to intentionally monitor and align our thoughts and behaviors, our emotions
calm. We come into balance. Through increased awareness and intention, we heal old
hurts and begin experiencing more peace. We start living life more fully from our
authentic selves as we move in the direction of our most heartfelt dreams.
Watching a person bloom into the full authenticity of who they truly are is one of the
great joys of Robb’s life. He’d be delighted to accompany you on your own healing
journey at Daydream MD.
