Matthew Daniel, aka. Mateo (he/him), holds an MA in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Systems Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (2022). With a 25-year background in wellness practices, somatic stress management, and group dynamics, Matthew combines a rich history of experience with contemporary clinical expertise.


His therapeutic approach integrates Jungian dream analysis, parts work, flow states, and mindfulness alongside person-centered, evidence-based methods. He specializes in treating trauma, PTSD, communication challenges, anxiety, and life-stage transitions for diverse groups including adult couples, veterans, students, and entrepreneurs.


Matthew provides individual and couples therapy, group facilitation, psychoeducational classes, team consultation, creative counseling for musicians, ceremonial work, retreats, and secular spiritual guidance, as well as prep and integration for psychedelic experiences, and psycholytic approaches to Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). His practice merges leading-edge advancements with ancient mind-body practices, drawing from both Eastern and Western traditions.


Matthew’s approach is warm, grounded, and trauma-informed, characterized by humor and relational depth. His primary goal is to help clients uncover their full-spectrum authenticity and reconnect with the powerful truth of who they are, enabling them to thrive and share their unique gifts with the world.
