Jamie Sweigert
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, LCSW & Clinical Supervisor She/Her
Jamie Sweigert completed a Master of Arts in Social Work from San Diego State University in 2020 and has been a California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2022. She was also certified as a psychedelic assisted therapy provider by Integrative Psychiatry Institute in 2022 and offers preparation and integration sessions as well as ketamine assisted psychotherapy.
Much of Jamie’s training came from working in partial hospitalization programs with adolescents and adults seeking healing following traumatic events. Jamie has worked extensively with populations to alleviate anxiety, depression, self-harm, substance abuse, SI, OCD, and PTSD. Helping people cope with end of life transitions, grief and loss, and identity shifting diagnoses are some of Jamie’s greatest passions. Jamie also has vast experience supporting patients coping with chronic illnesses such as cancer and epilepsy.
In her work at Daydream MD, Jamie provides clinical supervision to associate clinicians and will also be supporting women's health issues related to fertility, hormonal changes, and managing challenges that arise through all stages of life. She offers individual, couples, and family counseling integrating skills from CBT, DBT, ACT, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Experiencing to personalize a trauma-informed approach.Â
Jamie’s therapeutic style is warm, personal, and compassionate as she focuses on healing old wounds, altering self-limiting beliefs, regulating the nervous system, and strengthening attachment security and self-esteem to help clients reclaim their joy.Â
